Any font beginning with KG - is a Kimberly Geswein Font

all of her fonts are free downloads, but a $5 commercial use license is required to use on products. 

The fonts beginning with Hello - are Jen Jones fonts (you may know her from Hello Literacy)

These are pay per download or you can purchase a commercial use license for $20. The great thing ... she has monthly updates to this file if you purchase through Teachers Pay Teachers! 

The pea, Spicy Sushi, and My Own Topher fonts are from Kevin and Amanda.

This is one of my FAVORITES... BUT I have a little pet peeve....

PLEASE capitalize the first letter and include a ^ at the end of the word....

so many cute posters have been ruined for me because people don't know how to use the font! 

GRRRRR. 

Clipper Script  and Channel are from Mans Greback - This is free for personal use, but pay for commercial - my old logo was in Clipper Script. 

The LD fonts are from Lettering Delights. I have a lot of their fonts - these are a few dollars through their site - but once again - 3x's that for commercial use.

Just One of Those Days...

Hello friends... :)

Today was one of those, no good, very bad, pretty awful days...

I get them every once in a while... You?

I wanted to stay in bed  - all day - but I couldn't :(

So - I snuggled with my babies and played with bear

(my schnoodle - he's been at the kennel for a few days).

I *thought* the kids movie was at 10 am.... but it wasn't...

So I put some pretty shoes on and did my make-up ...

(for those of you who hate feet - sorry... these shoes are fabulous!)

So Deal... :)

and took the kids to see Monsters University.

I didn't get to see very much of it.

(There was this really annoying little boy who kept trying to drink all my Coke...)

oh - wait - that was MY little boy.

Darn.

THEN

we went to the grocery store.

BIG MISTAKE.

I made my 8 almost 9 year old ride in the back of the cart

you feeling me?

yeah.

I walked out praying to God that these three hours between the grocery store and bed time went REALLY fast... like add some wings and stuff....

I am currently consuming large amounts of milk chocolate with hazelnuts...

and I think my smile will return shortly.

The make-up and shoes bit helped... albeit temporarily.

Anyone else a shoe person?

All 'Janda' and 'KG' are from Kimberly Geswein

The 'LD' and 'SNF' fonts are my lettering delights fonts. Many of these I grab during their dollar sales, but those that I want to use in my tpt products, need a commercial license. :(

And those without a 'label' (Smiley Monster, Spicy Sushi Roll, My Own Topher, Annoying Kettle..) 

are also from Kevin and Amanda - but these are in the scrapbooking section. 

SO - Those are the top 53 fonts that I must have on my mac. I usually use the same five or six - but a girl has to have options... right? :)

Cork me Crazy....

Sitting in Panera (bread, bread), breakfast finished... thinking about how I will spend my day. 

(there is a conversation about purgatory going on next to me... I'm trying to focus and not bust into someone's conversation, being raised Catholic and all...)

FOCUS:

I spent most of my weekend being crafty. 

I have furniture coming today for little man's room (aka g2).

I need to finish my mammals unit.

I got a little sidetracked this weekend with my craft. I went into Hobby Lobby yesterday and went into craft overload. I hate when my brain goes into this craft-mode. It is a blessing and a curse.

A blessing - I end up with some super cool ideas

A curse - I can't concentrate on things, get inspiration at every turn, and spend way too much money. :) The best part for me has been knowing that I can decorate my house how I'd like...hehe, no battles, no compromise... yeah - I'm a little selfish... and I'm working on it after I get more stuff done. ;)

Font Freak...

I've been in love with fonts forever... I love handwriting things, but my handwriting changes - often... Depending on the slant of the pen, the type of paper, my mood...

My go to fonts are always from Kevin and Amanda .... and Jen Jones.... I was looking through my tpt store the other day and they all have the same title fonts! :) Well - I like what I like... :)

Anything I give to someone else, note, list, whatever... I'd prefer to type. I have learned a lot in this blogging adventure... My favorite thing - was how to make my own fonts. Amazing! It's my handwriting - and it's consistent!

That being said, I've made about 50 fonts... BUT these are the only ones I feel comfortable enough to share... :)

So - I've been home with my little man today. :( It is rare that he is ever sick and even more rare for him to complain... but he's been doing both. yay me...

While he was sleeping/resting/getting caught up on Transformers - I had a little time on my hands. 

A friend and I were discussing a blogging calendar - there are many out there, but like any true dork - I wanted to make my own. 

So I did. 

And I liked it so much, I thought it would be nice to share {I mean it is getting close to Christmas and all - I better start being nice!} hahaha!
